ETD Practitioner Associate Agreement Contract

This Agreement (“Agreement”) is entered into between SkillsLink (Pty) Ltd (“SkillsLink”) and the undersigned Education, Training, and Development (ETD) Practitioner Associate (“Associate”).

1. Responsibilities of SkillsLink:

  • SkillsLink shall set up the Associate with a user account set to Instructor level to enable participation in e-learning courses on the SkillsLink Learning Management System (LMS).
  • SkillsLink will negotiate rates on an individual basis, depending on the ETD Practitioner’s experience and qualifications.
  • Provide all content, including approved training materials and learning support aids.
  • For contact learning, SkillsLink shall book suitable facilities with the required equipment and resources for training.
  • Communicate promptly with the Associate regarding all ETD-related activities.
  • Provide management oversight and quality assurance roles.
  • Provide necessary reporting formats and templates.

2. Responsibilities of the Associate:

  • The Associate shall provide proof of required registrations and certifications.
  • Provide proof of subject matter expertise and qualifications.
  • Conduct all ETD-related activities to the highest ethical standards and professionalism, ensuring not to bring the name of SkillsLink or its Associates into disrepute.
  • Maintain accurate records and submit reports on time.
  • Respect and protect the Intellectual Property (IP) and copyright of all materials the Associate may work with in performing their duties.

3. Growing Ecosystem and Income Potential:

  • SkillsLink is developing a growing ecosystem of courses with its Instructional Design Associates. The demand for ETD Practitioner services for e-learning, blended, and traditional learning is expected to grow exponentially over the coming years, ensuring a sustainable income stream for Associates.

4. General Provisions:

  • This Agreement is governed by the laws of South Africa.
  • Both parties acknowledge that this Agreement represents their entire understanding and supersedes any prior agreements or understandings, whether written or oral.
  • Any modifications or amendments to this Agreement must be made in writing and signed by both parties.

By signing below, both parties agree to the terms and conditions outlined in this Agreement.
