As the eyes and ears on the ground during the Netball World Cup 2023, we volunteers have the unique opportunity to shape the experiences of thousands of international tourists. This virtual lecture aims to equip you with the knowledge and skills needed to introduce the rich and diverse culture, history, and beauty of South Africa to our guests.

We’ll cover key aspects of South Africa, such as major tourist attractions, cultural etiquette, and local cuisines. We’ll also highlight important historical facts, regional dialects, and local customs to understand what makes South Africa unique comprehensively.

By the end of this lecture, you will have a broad knowledge of South Africa that you can share with our visitors, thereby enhancing their overall experience. Your role as an ambassador is vital in promoting a positive image of South Africa and in making the Netball World Cup 2023 an unforgettable experience for all.
